SAFELINE™ is the name of our new line of road safety equipment, which has been developed through a joint project between the Swedish Road Administration as client, Vik Ørsta AS as manufacturer and PLH design as designer.

SAFELINE™ consists of a series of products with a common design. It is primarily intended for use in the transition area between countryside and town and on through-roads in towns.

These areas have greater demands with respect to design because pedestrians and cyclists often get close to road equipment and frequently see it from behind.

Vik Ørsta AS manufactures and supplies SAFELINE™ products in steel, currently lighting columns, fittings, signposts and gantries, railings for roads and bridges as well as various barriers for bridge parapets, including sound barriers.

All our products are hot-dip galvanised, but they may also be supplied with powder coating in the colour of your choice. SAFELINE™ products fulfil all the relevant quality requirements and are collision-tested in accordance with EN 1317.
