The CT-Bolt has been especially developed for long life and corrosive environments such as subsea tunnels. The polyethylene sleeve that encloses the bolt seals it completely against corrosion.

The bolt is first anchored with an expansion shell and is later grouted with a cement mortar. The mortar is pumped in through the hole in the dome, it flows up on the inside of the sleeve and then spreads back between the sleeve and the rock until it emerges through the hole in the bearing plate.

It takes on load immediately and can be pre-tightened before it is grouted. It has been developed especially for rapid installation while at the same time being easy and safe to grout.
