SAFELINE™ is the name of our new road safety equipment which is developed through a cooperation between the Swedish Road Administration as client, Vik Ørsta AS as manufacturer and PLH design as designer.

SAFELINE™ consists of a product family with a common design. It is primarily intended for use in the transition area between countryside and town and on through-roads in towns. These areas have greater demands with respect to design because pedestrians and slow traffic often get close to road equipment and frequently see it from behind.

Vik Ørsta AS produces and supplies SAFELINE™ products in steel, currently lighting masts, fittings, signposts and gantries, railings for roads and bridges as well as various barriers for bridge railings, including noise barriers.

All of our products are hot-dip galvanised, but they may also be supplied with powder coating in the colour of your choice. SAFELINE™ products fulfil quality requirements and are collision-tested in accordance with EN 1317.
